Bringing pre-internet ambience to the World Wide Web. A place where we prefer books to video games and television, watching movies in darkened theaters, and spinning vinyl on turntables rather than downloads to an iPod.

Airport trek to O'Hare; 5/14/2007
[Headed north on the Chicago Skyway/alternate route to O'Hare]
[Lakeshore Drive, headed north on U.S. 41]
[Fountain at Grant Park; attended Taste of Chicago here, back in 1985]
Chicago has always excited me for some reason. It's not the East, it's not the West, it's just a great big town in the middle. I'll never forget how out of place we felt walking our dogs there a couple of years ago among all the concrete and business.
