I found your blog through a posting that mentioned Ruth Moore (one of my fave Maine writers). A click here, a click there, and suddenly I'm reading about oil! <BR/><BR/>I might suggest a book on this general topic that I read a couple of years ago - "The Long Emergency" by James Howard Kunstler. Kunstler is fascinating in his predictions for the collapse of our petro-centric society, and he's very entertaining reading to boot. Many of the things he wrote about seem to be happening much sooner than he predicted. I think he may be slightly crazy, but that's all part of the fun.
