I have always thought that Barbara Bush was a callous and selfish woman and her comment did nothing to change my opinion of her.<BR/><BR/>We have a nation where the privileged no longer feel that they have an obligation to share some of their largesse.<BR/><BR/>As you know, my connections to organized religion are tenuous at best, but so much of my biblical background keeps popping into my head whenever one of these hypocrites open their mouths.<BR/><BR/>For instance, from Luke 12:48, we have the following from Jesus--"For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more."<BR/><BR/>It doesn't get too much plainer than that.
